Scanlon Aviation is a full service Cirrus Standardized Training Center offering Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Cirrus Transition training courses and Cirrus Recurrent Training. Our Instructors
Patrick Scanlon, CFI, CFII, over 5,000 hours experience. Patrick is a Cirrus Standardized Instructor who specializes in training students in technically advanced aircraft.

Patrick emphasizes a safe and fun learning environment. He has completed the Technically Advanced Aircraft Instructor programs at both the Cirrus and Cessna factories. He also regularly instructs in Cirrus, Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft aircraft.

Will McClendon, CFI, CFII, MEI, CFIG (Glider instructor), over 3,300 hours and has been instructing since 1984.

Will is one of Scanlon Aviation’s Cirrus instructors. As an FAA Safety Team representative (www.faasafety.gov ), Will brings a strong commitment to aviation safety. He is an ideal instructor for the pilot looking to enhance proficiency in their VFR and IFR flying skills and operating procedures. Will also has experience instructing in taildraggers and floatplanes.
