About our Company

Scanlon Aviation operates out of Gnoss Field in Novato California, a short drive north of San Francisco.  We offer air taxi service and Cirrus aircraft rental and flight instruction.

About our Aircraft

Our Air Taxi aircraft, a Cirrus SR22, is equipped with technologically advanced navigation equipment, onboard weather via satellite receiver, XM™ stereo channels for the passenger entertainment and air-conditioning for passenger comfort.

Cirrus Flight Instruction

We offer a new Cirrus SR20 GTS for rental and flight instruction.  The SR20 GTS is equipped with every available factory option.

Scanlon Aviation is operated by Patrick Scanlon, a commercial, instrument rated pilot with over 4,350 hours of total flight time. He is also a flight instructor specializing in training students in Cirrus aircraft. Patrick has completed the Technically Advanced Aircraft Instructor programs at both the Cirrus and Cessna factories. He adheres to FAA requirements for pilot proficiency checks every 6 months to maintain the highest private air charter standards.
